Rest In Peace Gerard Lejeune, Our teacher, father and friend...

On December 21, 2009 our mentor Gerard Lejeune has left us of heart complication. He was 63. We miss him dearly and days has not been the same anymore. He was the original owner of Embellie cattery, and the first person who brought Maine Coon into Malaysia. The cat fancy will miss his presence in the show hall and in the community.
People may not understand our relationship with the Late Gerard Lejeune but he was probably the only person who believed in us, guiding us in a lot of ways, and never was calculative in whatever he did. Our Moskva and Narnia, and even Medina and Gambit were off his kindness and teachings. We are certainly would not be at this stage without his help.
Thank you Gerard, we pray that you are happy wherever you are. We know you are at a better place.

Our lovely companions...
These cats may or may not be of your favorite cats that conforms to the breed standards, but they are the jewel of our household, the motivator and pioneer way before Zikhafri was born. They humor us everyday with their personalities and made us worried in a lot of ways, but they truly the one who made us where we are now. Without them, we would not be this far, and most probably will not have the strength and passion to go on.
They are Medina (blue tabby maine coon spay), Magnum (brown mac tabby and white maine coon male, now with our friend as a loving pet), Gambit (brown tabby and white neuter maine coon male) and Beijing (dilute calico exotic shorthair).

Update: On February 15th, 2010, just a month before she would turn 3 years, Beijing our lovely Dilute Calico ESH left us and went over the rainbow bridge. She was having loss of appetite and drastic change after being spayed. We have tried as best as we could to save her but she couldn't make it. She will be missed dearly and everytime now when people mention about Beijing Olympics or Olympics in general, it will remind us of her.
WE LOVE YOU BEIJING, WE HOPE YOU ARE HAPPY WHEREVER YOU ARE :-(:-(:-(

Who Is This? This is Dobie!!

Dobie is one kitty sent by God to us :-) She popped out of nowhere near our legs when we wanted to pick up our laundry one evening, thus her name: Dobie. We found her and she was so adorable we picked her up and brought home. Initially thought as a kitten, she was vet-checked and vaccinated, free of fleas and fungus, the Vet certified she is actually already ONE friggin' year old!!
While she is the smallest one of all, a domestic cat she is a terror!! She would assume everybody wants to chase her, or can easily bully anybody who's sleeping and of course, whining when she's got bullied. Her best friend is Eros and she is totally a great replacement for both Medina and Gambit who misses Beijing.
We will get a better picture of her soon. Stay tuned!!
